Li Ka-Shing once said, if you want to live a normal life, you will face normal
challenges. If you want to live the best life, you will surely face the strongest hurts.
The world is fair, if you want the best, you will experience the most pain.
Yes, you will reap what you sow. Big dreamers pay the biggest price and effort, they
also face the greatest tests and challenges. They often tolerate what people
generally cannot tolerate and achieve things that are beyond the comprehension of
other people. When your dreams become reality, there will be many others who will
become envious and some even jealous of your accomplishments. They don’t see
what went on behind the scenes and think that you only got there due to pure luck!
Most people do not have a dream. Many ambitious young people set a lot of short-
term goals and work hard to achieve them. However, when they achieve these
goals, they start to settle down in their comfort zone. Many do not set new goals to
move forward. Without new goals, life passes day by day, with their motivation and
strength slowly getting weaker each day until they reach a certain point in life where
they are faced with a crisis. Their thinking becomes obsolete, they become fearful to
take on new adventures, eventually they lose the respect of others and fail to
contribute to the ever changing and evolving world around them. This is such a
tragedy!
For a person to live a purposeful and meaningful life, they must have dreams and
visions for their life, while setting many achievable short-term goals along the way to
eventually reach their long-term dreams.
